Maladies inflammatoires chroniques intestinales
Our research group focuses on epidemiological research of inflammatory bowel diseases. We have a particular interest in the identification of predictors of disease progression and bad prognosis. In addition, our research group developed and validated tools to assess and standardize disease activity in patients with eosinophilic esophagitis. We analyze data from national cohorts, mainly the Swiss IBD Cohort and the Swiss Cohort of patients with eosinophilic esophagitis.
