Precision Medicine with a Focus on Oncology
As an oncologist and nuclear medicine physician, I work at the interface of oncology, molecular imaging and molecular oncology radiotherapy. Current projects include imaging of the tumor microenvironment to better predict tumor response or resistance to immunotherapy. Imaging of inflammation and chronic diseases. Molecular radiotherapies and their improvement (e.g. in dosimetry) of intestinal tumors (neuroendocrine tumors) and prostate cancer. In addition, there is a strong focus on the development of new molecular radiotherapies and molecular imaging in the preclinical setting in collaboration with Prof. Margreth Schottelius.
