This research axis focuses on the issue of understanding, detecting, analyising & preventing corruption in sport. In addition, it focuses on the need to strengthen sporting integrity through the enhancement of monitoring, investigative and accountability standards.
Crime & Technology
This research axis aims to study the adaptation of deviance, crime and social reaction to new technologies. This includes, for example, the study of the impact of cyberspace on the stolen goods markets, the study on the adaptation of traditional social engineering techniques to facilitate fraud, but also the study on the characteristics of perpetrators and victims in cyberspace, and the issue of measuring cybercrime trends.
