Plasticity of hypothalamic circuits
We are combining stereotaxic surgeries in mice with histological and behavioral approaches to better understand 1) how the synaptic plasticity of hypothalamic neurons control both energy and glucose homeostasis, and 2) to which extend alteration of these circuits can lead to obesity or type 2 diabetes.
