Improving competences of patients and community health care providers to optimise the use of medicines
Improving competences of patients and community health care providers are key components to optimise the use of medicines and to reduce medication-related harm in the primary health care setting. My research interests have been tackling these key components in focusing on three interconnected domains:
1. clinical tools to help health care providers and patients to prevent and manage DRPs and to document clinical activities,
2. education to strengthen the clinical skills of community pharmacists,
3. interprofessional pharmacy services to implement effective models in primary care.
