Radiology
My research group specialises in the development of machine learning algorithms for medical images, in particular MRI.
An important research axis is the combination of images with other types of data, in particular -omics (blood or cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers, genotype, gene expression), but also the combination of medical images with medical reports in the form of text (natural language processing).
The main clinical applications are stroke, heart failure, multiple sclerosis, cancer, and dementia
