Notre recherche s'intéresse aux embarras de la parole religieuse telle qu'elle s'énonce dans l'espace public, en Suisse et de France, deux pays sécularisés, où les acteurs religieux se montrent actifs. Par leur prise de parole médiatique, ces acteurs parviennent à susciter des controverses, quand ils n'en font pas l'objet. L'analyse se concentre sur des controverses qui portent sur les régulations entre les genres, l'égalité des sexes et la reconnaissance de la pluralité des sexualités.

Les violences faites aux femmes sont désormais une catégorie d'action publique. Elles font l'objet de débats et de controverses dans l'espace public, de comptages par les pouvoirs publics et de politiques publiques, via des campagnes de prévention, la création de refuges ou de centres de conseils, qui réunissent une pluralité d'acteurs institutionnels et non institutionnels, à l'échelle nationale comme à l'internationale. Elles font également l'objet de législations spécifiques.

The main objective of UNDETERRED is to strengthen the fight against racial, ethnic and religious inequalities experienced by the younger generation (18-35 years old) of some immigrant (People of North African (Moroccans; Tunisians), sub-Saharan (Senegalese; Cameroonians) and Turkish origin or descent are identified as residents of the neighborhoods and universities studied), and national minority
populations in Europe (Roma and Gypsy national minorities).

The convergence of mobile technologies, media, and the Internet is transforming the way that digital content is produced, distributed, and consumed among children and young adults. In Europe as in many other areas, minors are exposed to an ever-growing amount of digital content on multiple screens. Increasing exposure at an early age brings both new opportunities and risks. This paper reviews the current discussion about strategies that deal with inappropriate, harmful, and illegal content online and proposes a co-regulatory, technology-driven approach that involves children, their families, and the education system. The MediaKids project aims to test this co-regulatory approach by developing a mobile application - the MediaKids app - within the broader context of an educational programme to raise awareness about online safety. The project seeks to involve children and young adults in defining the notion of 'harmful content' and, ultimately, in the elaboration of the policies for the emergent digital public space.
